The 18th anniversary of the founding of the political organisation of Greeks in Albania, Omonia", was celebrated recently in Kervitsiani - the main town of the Greek minority in the prefecture of Argyrocastro, where its founding fathers found shelter 18 years ago from the persecution of the Communist regime. The events were attended by the Greek Foreign Undersecretary, Theodore Kassimis, the Metropolitan Bishop for Argyrocastro, Dimitrios, members of both the Greek and Albanian parliaments and representatives of diplomatic corps.
