With a march throughout central London and a demonstration a Trafalgar Square, the omogeneia of Great Britain once again exhibited its support towards Cyprus on the occasion of the 24th anniversary from the "creation" of the pseudo-state in northern Cyprus.
Nearly 7 thousand Greeks and Greek Cypriots of London marched to Trafalgar Square. Speaking at the rally were the President of the Cypriot Parliament, Dimitris Christofias, 11 British Parliamentarians and Euro-deputies who stressed that Britain must play a pivotal role in the Cyprus issue underlining that Cyprus must find its place in the European Union with or without a solution to its political problem with a solution to the Cyprus issue comprising a precondition for Turkey's EU accession.
