Eurodeputy and vice-president of the European Parliament responsible for Euro-Mediterranean relations, Rodi Kratsa, is on a two day visit to Qatar where she will attend the Club De Monaco Council, a group of distinguished personalities from various sectors of the international political and economic scene who jointly strive towards peace and stability in the Mediterranean region.
Ms. Kratsa will speak about the relations between Gulf area countries and the countries of the eastern Mediterranean region with respect to the developments in the area and the commitments of the European Union for economic development and the acceleration of the peace process.
