150 graduate and post graduate foreign born students from 28 countries studying the Greek language from universities abroad were received on August 20th by the rector of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Professor, Anastasios Manthos, and other university officials.
The scholarship students and members of omogeneia organizations will
attend an accelerated summer course at the university’s School of the
New Greek language until the 12th of September. The aim of the program is to disseminate the Greek language, to strengthen the course of Greek studies, further develop ties of cooperation and to highlight the meaning of Greek hospitality.
