Those participating in the competition should send an essay of three (3) pages the maximum (5400 symbols) in Bulgarian or in Greek at the Centre's e-mail:

or post it at the Centre's address: 51 Benkovsky Str., 1000 Sofia. Each candidate can participate with only one essay and should give his name, address, telephone number and e-mail address.
The HFC Centre will award two big prizes:
- For the best essay in Greek - participation in the summer Greek language seminar by the University of Athens with the support of the Hellenic Foundation for Culture (Athens).
- For the best essay in Bulgarian - participation in an annual program of learning Greek at the HFC Sofia Centre.
There will be also many honorary prizes.
The essays should be submitted from January 18 until February 19, 2010. The winners will be announced and be given their prizes in a special ceremony at HFC's Centre, on March 24, 2010.
