The children of the Arcadian association, "Eparchia Kynourias", sang Christmas and New Year carols at homes and businesses in Long Island, on the eves of the two holidays.
Elderly people were especially moved and happy to hear the carols, as they reminded them of their own childhood carol rounds in their homeland, and they congratulated the children for keeping the old Christmas and New Year traditions alive through this initiative. The children - who all participate in the association's dance troupe - were accompanied by the president and members of the association's board, as well as by parents.
