"The mass participation of expatriate Greeks in the European Parliament elections is a major wager that we are called until to win, if we want to highlight and utilise the dynamic developed by Hellenism in 21st Century Europe," said candidate Eurodeputy for the main opposition Pasok party, Costas Tatsis, at a large rally in view of the June 7 elections, held on Monday in Munich. 

In the crowded hall of the centrally located hotel in the Bavarian capital, Tatsis, who is a 2nd generation expatriate Greek, underlined that the Greek Diaspora of Europe want the issues they are concerned about to be conveyed to decision-making centres and to comprise part of the political agenda of Greek parties in the European Parliament.
