The 18th Hermes Expo International

Hermes Expo founder Paul Kotrotsios thanked the Chamber of Commerce of Queens and the sponsors including, Marathon Bank, Greek National Tourism Organization (EOT), the participants in the exhibition, the Thessaloniki Municipality, the Trikala Prefecture and the Municipality of Bucharest, Romania. EOT Director in the United States Giorgos Tambakis stated that the exhibition is a bridge linking the motherland with the United States. Messages were sent by Greek Parliament President Dimitris Sioufas, the deputy minister of education, the mayor of Thessaloniki and US Representative Carolyn Maloney (D-NY), while the events were also addressed by Greek MPs. The Federation of Greek-American Educators and the SAE USA Region Education Committee honoured six educators within the framework of the exhibition in recognition of their services in Greek-speaking education and their efforts aimed at preserving the Greek cultural heritage. The 18th Hermes Expo Trade show and Exhibition was held at the Tropicana Hotel and Resort in Atlantic City, New Jersey, the home base of the Hermes Expo since 1992.
