The Patriarch of Alexandria and All Africa, Theodore II, has sent a telegram to the metropolitan bishop of Kenya, Makarios, in view of the current civil strife in that African country.
The Patriarch, who is in constant telephone contact with Bishop
Makarios on the issue, referred to the bloody outcome of the conflict,
which, he said, causes horror and profound grief. A similar telegram
was also sent by the Patriarch to His Excellency Polydroso Kokonas, the
Greek ambassador to Kenya. Patriarch Theodoros expressed his heartfelt support, sympathy and love, adding that he was praying for peace and reconciliation in Kenya. Set as favorite Email This Σχόλια
