The General Consul of Russia in Thessaloniki, Mikhail Khatkevich, was received by the Prefect of Thessaloniki, Panagiotis Psomiadis, in his office yesterday. The two men discussed matters involving cultural exchanges and commercial relations between the two countries. Khatevich thanked Psomiadis for his cooperation in accommodating Russian children at summer camps in Thessaloniki and called for the prefecture’s collaboration in organising Saint Petersburg cultural events in late October in Thessaloniki. He also indicated Russian interest in promoting Greek agricultural products in the Russian market.
