Prominent Pasok deputy Eleftherios Venizelos will spend the Greek Orthodox Easter in the United States, as the keynote speaker at an event organised on Tuesday at the American Hellenic Institute.
The socialist MP will be in the US for the entire Easter period, following invitations by Greek-American organisations, foundations and university bodies, where he is scheduled to given a series of talks and lectures. On April 29, an open event will be held at the Stathakeio Centre in New York, on the topic: "Diaspora Greeks and the national strategy".
