The Patriarch of Alexandria and All Africa, Theodoros II, officiated at the Christmas ceremonial liturgy at the cathedral of St. Nicholas, in Hamzaoui, one of the most historic neighborhoods of the Egyptian capital. The liturgy was hled in a moving climate in the presence of expatriate Greeks and Arab-Orthodox residents of Cairo. It should be noted, that on Christmas Eve, the Alexandrian Patriarch, spent time with the elderly residents of the old age home of the Greek community, while he also sent out warm wishes for a speedy recovery to those ailing at the Greek hospital . On the afternoon of the same day, Mr. Theodoros heard the Christmas carols from the children’s choir of the Orthodox Patriarchal Center of Cairo. Set as favorite Email This Σχόλια
