The New York Cultural Group "Our Cyprus" honoring the 53rd anniversary from the on-start of Cyprus' freedom struggle from the English yoke 19955-1959 presents "Iroon Logos" an Ode to the heroes of EOKA 1955-1959 a production in honor of the 9 heroes of the EOKA movement.
The founder and director of the Cultural Group "Our Cyprus", Petros Petrides, noted that the event aims to contribute to the strengthening of our historical memories and promoting exemplary individuals to the younger generations and called on the omogeneia to attend the presentation honoring the 9 fallen heroes. The event will take place on April 1st at the Greek Archdiocese Cultural Center (Crescent Street and Newtown Aveneue, Astoria) at 8pm and is realized under the aegis of the Cyprus Federation of America, the Cypriot Consulate and PSEKA. Speakers at the event include, Kleri Vasiliadi and Petros Petrides with songs inspired by the freedom struggle of 1955-59 performed by George Kollias. Set as favorite Email This Σχόλια
