The honorary president of the Council for Hellenes Abroad (SAE) Andrew Athens met with the President of the Hellenic Parliament, Dimitris Sioufas yesterday with whom he discussed the Hellenicare program.
The program aims to create medical centers and health care services in
countries of Eastern Europe home to thousand of expatriate Greeks. The
meeting was also attended by Parliament’s president of the Special
Permanent Committee on Greeks Abroad, Nikos Tsiartsonis and the
committee’s vice-president, Grigoris Niotis. During the meeting, Mr.
Sioufas stressed that the Greek parliament will continue its support of
the Hellenicare program.
