“Your Excellency Mr President, I wish to express the Board’s heartfelt congratulations and mine personally for the strong popular mandate you have received and for the assumption of the country’s governance in a crucial period, as well as the wishes of World Hellenism for success in your difficult task. The Hellenism of Diaspora is at your side and places its powers and support at the disposal of Greece to meet our national goals and visions. The World Council of Hellenes Abroad will display active solidarity toward the Greek State on issues falling under its jurisdiction. Your in-depth knowledge of the problems faced by World Hellenism and the excellent and effective cooperation we have shared give us optimism for the future. We are certain that our expectations will be met for the benefit of Greece and Hellenism. Respectfully, Stefanos P. Tamvakis”
